Town of Hillsboro Beach Declaration of Emergency issued March 27, 2020
(Update - 6:41pm March 19, 2020)
Public Access to Town Hall
The Town Shuttle will continue to operate as usual, but spacing may be limited.
Individual residents and condos regulate the use of their beach property to the mean high water line and can determine the use of the beach, while taking into consideration the recommendations of the CDC and Health Departments regarding “social distancing” and group size.
The area of the beach east of the mean high water mark is governed by the State of Florida and should follow the Governor’s Executive Order 20-68 limiting the gatherings to no more than 10 persons while maintaining a distance of 6 feet.
Mayor Tarrant executed a Declaration of Emergency effective March 17, 2020, and has authorized the closing of the Bocce Courts located behind Town Hall.
