Sewer Improvement Project

HILLSBORO RESIDENT VERBIAGE:

Partial Closure 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (1 lane of traffic) for force main installation from approximately 1189 to approximately 1172.   Traffic will be controlled with an automated flagging system. 

 Partial Closure (1 lane of traffic) for wellpoint installation and road restoration from approximately 1051/1050 to approximately 1085.  All traffic from 1051/1050 and addresses to the north must travel north.  

 Complete Road Closure for sanitary sewer and force main installation from approximately 1051/1050 to approximately 1045.  ACCESS THRU THE CLOSURE EXCEPT FOR EMERGENCY VEHICLES!  All residents living at 1051/1050 must travel north, all residents living south of 1045 must travel south, and all residents living at 1045 must initially travel south but that may change (the Property Manager will be notified) if the work progresses to the south entrance.  

 Partial Closure (1 lane of traffic) for preparation of sanitary sewer installation from approximately 1039 to approximately 1045.


FDOT VERBIAGE:

A1A/Hillsboro Mile in Hillsboro Beach

“A1A is closed to ALL TRAFFIC north of the Hillsboro Inlet Bridge between 1045 Hillsboro Mile and 1051/1050 Hillsboro Mile in Hillsboro Beach for a Broward County Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project.  

Also, A1A is reduced to one lane of traffic from 1189 to approximately 1172, and from approximately 1039 Hillsboro Mile to approximately 1045 Hillsboro Mile and from approximately 1051/1050 Hillsboro Mile to approximately 1085 Hillsboro Mile.  

A1A through traffic must avoid this area by using US 1/Federal Highway by way of the NE 14th Street Intracoastal Waterway (ICWW) Bridge to the south and Hillsboro Boulevard (ICWW) Bridge to the north.
